TJ’s Gym Workouts for 9.25.17

After dropping off Hollis for warmups before her soccer game in Union City, I headed to the closest coffee shop around. I got out of the car and stopped dead in my tracks. Memories flooded in, as I saw this brick bench outside of Mr Kebabs, the place I had lunch while taking my very first Level 1 Cert at CrossFit One World almost 10 years ago to the day. We had been doing CrossFit- style workouts for a couple years by then, but this was where I committed full-throttle by becoming certified for the first time. Since then, it’s been an incredible journey of learning life lessons and wondering what we were doing at points along the way. Ten years later, there is now complete clarity. Keep asking people how we can help. Sometimes the answer is push-ups, sometimes it’s just listening, and sometimes it’s offering a hug. Thank you all for trusting us to help. I hope to come back here to Mr.Kebabs for my 20th -50th anniversary lunches and let the memories flow. Couldn’t be happier or prouder about how far we’ve come. Together.

*The TJ’s Rodeo 2017 will go down on Sunday, October 22nd at the San Rafael gym. REGISTRATION DETAILS COMING THIS WEEK INTO YOUR EMAIL INBOX! We will have male/female partner teams and male/female individual divisions. We have to order t-shirts ASAP, so you’ll need to be ready to sign up if you want to do it and want a shirt. If you’re new to TJ’s, you need to know that this is a day not to be missed. It’s our annual TJ’s Gym competition, and suffice it to say that it’s awesome!

*FALL OPEN GYM SCHEDULE:  All schedules are updated on our website Schedules Page. Any time there is a class on the schedule, the gym is available for Open Gym use, as well. You can also text a coach if you want to come at a non-scheduled time to check if the coach will be there with a client or working out. Let us know if you have any questions.
