Do whatever it takes to maintain consistency. Find a crew, build some relationships, and commit to them. Community is developed through consistent behaviors. Community members are always more successful than individuals.
WE HAVE A NEW TJ’s GYM FACEBOOK GROUP!!! PLEASE JOIN!!! In order to better facilitate online discussions among our many members, we have started the TJ’s Gym MEMBERS Facebook group. Please request to join. We will let you in if you’re a current member of the gyms, and you’ll be able to interact with everyone about workouts, nutrition, you name it! This is taking the place of our Google Discussion group.
SPRING BREAK IS THIS WEEK FOR MANY LOCAL SCHOOLS. ALL GYM SCHEDULES WILL BE NORMAL, EXCEPT THERE WILL BE NO OPEN GYM IN CORTE MADERA FROM 9:30-12 tomorrow (Monday, April 10) and Tuesday, April 11. Head over to Mill Valley or San Rafael if you need Open Gym times then! Thanks for your understanding!
Please do not bring your kids to the gym to sit around while you workout. We truly love kids–so much so that we want to keep them safe! We would be happy to schedule a private or semi-private coaching session for your child/children, but we can’t have kids just hanging around during classes. Thanks for helping us keep your kids safe!
Teens/Tweens Classes for the week of April 10th: Please see the flyer below to register for Spring Break week Teen Classes. You need to pre-register so we know to hold classes!
*ANOTHER FRIENDLY REMINDER TO PLEASE FILL OUT OUR NEW ONLINE WAIVER BEFORE YOUR NEXT VISIT!!!! We recently updated our waiver and need all members to complete the revised version. It takes about 2-3 minutes, and you can find the link HERE. Please be sure to choose the “existing client” option and use the same email address you have used with us in the past. If you need to update any of your information in our system, this is a good time to do that, as well. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!
*Questions about some of the common movements we use in classes? We’ve added a video glossary of videos from CrossFit(TM) explaining points of performance and proper mechanics. It’s a page under the MEMBERS tab on our website. Hopefully you’ll find this helpful!
*If you’re not into barbells or know someone who isn’t, check out TJ’s Mill Valley Bootcamp on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9:30! It’s the perfect combination of foundational strength and long metabolic conditioning workouts, not to mention a welcoming crew and great camaraderie. If you know someone who might be interested, please let him/her know. No intro needed. First class is free!
