In 2003, Dan Freeman came into the gym and asked if the Drake High School Mountain Bike Team could use our Spin bikes for off-season training. I said sure, and the next week Dan and three kids showed up. Fast-forward to a couple of weeks ago, when the team photo was taken for the 2017 season. That’s impressive. Photo cred to Whit Ball.

*The CrossFit Open is underway! If you are participating and are wondering about options for being judged at the gyms, here’s what we have in place:
1. In classes on Fridays if you bring a buddy to judge you. Unfortunately, you can’t rely on the class coach or other class members to judge you.
2. The following Open Gym times: Mill Valley 4-6pm Fridays, Corte Madera 4-6pm Fridays, Corte Madera 9-11am Saturdays, Corte Madera 10am-11am Sundays
3. Other Open Gym times if you have checked in ahead of time with the coach to be sure he/she does not have a personal training client scheduled.
4. By appointment with a coach at any time, for a fee of $20 paid directly to the coach.
