*NEW TRIAL CLASS: Mill Valley BOOTCAMP/CrossFit Lite
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 13th 9:30am TJ’s Gym Mil Valley with Allison
We’ve got a new trial class that will include some foundations of strength training using dumbbells and bodyweight resistance and lots of metabolic conditioning work. Class participants can expect to learn proper movement mechanics in lifting movements (squatting, bending, pushing, pulling) and will also get their BUZZ on with a super tough conditioning workout each time! If all goes well, this class will become a regular addition to our Thursday class schedule and will also be offered on Tuesdays at 9:30 with Nicki, in place of the regular class now on the schedule. No experience necessary, and no intro needed! Please spread the word and bring friends who might want to try out TJ’s but are intimidated by barbells and want to longer conditioning workouts, similar to the Allison’s programming line we offer. *IVIVVA CORTE MADERA clothing store is holding a Function (Fashion) Show with soccer player models, games, snacks, goal-setting, and a raffle with prizes including a YOGA party and some TJ’s Gym classes! SATURDAY, OCTOBER 15th from 5-7pm. All raffle proceeds will benefit kids with cancer. Plus, if your daughter is a TJ’s athlete, just have her show up at the event and let IVIVVA know that she wants to be part of their GIRL CREW, which entitles members to a 15% discount for one year! *WORLDWIDEWOMEN GIRLS’ FESTIVAL. SATURDAY, OCTOBER 15th 9am-5pm. FORT MASON CENTER, SAN FRANCISCO. This is the first-annual event of its kind, meant to educate, empower, and inspire girls of all ages. The speaker and workshop line-up is top notch, and it should be a great day for girls around the Bay Area! Grab a complimentary reservation spot. *TJ’s Rodeo competition. Sunday, October 23rd. Approx. 8am-2pm. TJ’s Gym San Rafael.
*Thanksgiving Day Workout. Redwood High School Track. 9am. This is our 11th-annual community pre-feast workout. Friends and Family are welcomed. It’s a GREAT way to start your holiday with your TJ’s community!
*TJ’s Gym HOLIDAY PARTY. Saturday, December 17th. TJ’s Gym San Rafael. We transform the gym into a party venue. It’s always one of the most fun parties of the season. Plenty of shenanigans and always fun to see your workout buddies all decked out.

PROGRAMMING NOTE: Workout volume is increasing as we head into the Rodeo and peaking our athletes’ capacity. If you’re not training for the Rodeo, this is still a good cycle for you, but check in with yourself to be sure the volume isn’t too intense. Coaches can help you scale down workouts as needed.
