Happy Father’s Day, Everyone!
*Summer is in full swing for most of us in TJ land. Be sure you get in the gyms while you’re in town, so you maintain a solid foundation of fitness when you head out of town and have less control of your workouts and nutrition. That way, come Fall, you’ll be more of the person you want to be, and less of the person you don’t. Fitness makes all the difference.
*New TJ’s Apparel has Arrived! Cool new women’s tops–muscle tanks and flowy long-sleeved shirts–and more men’s t-shirts, including a new army green, have been delivered to all three gyms. Get ’em while you can!
*REMINDER ABOUT ADDED OPEN GYM TIMES: In response to your requests for additional gym access times, we have added more open hours at all of the gyms. If there’s a class or Open Gym noted on our schedules page, you can be sure there will be a coach there, and the gym will be accessible for your workout!
*ANNOUNCING the TJ’s Gym US Military Veterans Fitness Scholarship Fund!
TJ’s Gym is always looking for ways to do community outreach. Thanks to the encouragement and efforts of TJ’s member, Ben Curtis, we are launching our TJ’s Gym US Military Veterans Scholarship Fund. The fund will support personal training and class memberships for veterans recently returning from active duty (past 2 years). Please see the flyer below and help us spread the word!
*Also in the category of community outreach, TJ’s Gym is sponsoring a SOCCER JUGGLING CLINIC for ages 8-14. 100% of registration money will be donated directly to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital via Juggling for Jude! If you have a soccer player in your family or friend group, please spread the word about this clinic, which will be taught by one of Marin’s fabulous competitive youth coaches, Kierra Scalercio, assisted by Hollis Belger of Juggling for Jude.
Saturday, July 30th, 2016 at 2-3:30pm. Hall Middle School Turf Field. See flyer for details, and please pass this on to friends and family with young soccer players in their family!
