THICKER  BAR = MORE MUSCLE. Your grip is the main link between the weight and your working muscles in almost every lift. Lack of grip strength is one of the main reasons why people can’t handle bigger weights when dead lifting, doing pull-ups and chin-ups, as well as almost all other exercises. This is where Fat Gripz come in, they will train your grip through the science of thick bar training – be prepared to be humbled!

We have been asked by a local company, Social Fluency, to allow our members to have access to one of their workshops.  Our own Coach Megan is a lead instructor with Social Fluency, a start-up valuing and teaching about community connections.  They will be offering free workshops to our members starting on January 17th, 6:30pm-8:30pm, at the Corte Madera gym.  Please read below to learn more and visit their website at www.socialfluency.com

Creating Authentic Connections
The most successful, fulfilled and satisfied people in the world are able to make genuine connections with all types of people, both at work and in their personal lives. We can all think of someone we know who can comfortably walk into any situation, put others at ease, connect, have fun and enjoy themselves. Imagine feeling that comfortable just by being yourself. But what exactly does “be yourself” mean? In this workshop, we will teach you concrete skills from research on social and emotional intelligence to enable you to connect, and build trust and rapport with anyone. From making new friends and attracting a partner, to deepening current bonds, increasing your influence and thriving at work, you will discover ways to be your optimal self and make authentic connections in any situation.
