TJ’s Gym WOD for Tues. Nov 20th

Larissa is another one of those maniac ultra runners.  She and her husband are opening up a running shoe store right by the MV gym so we will be neighbors!

Here is a message from Susie Morlock who ran the Blue Star Mom’s table at the TJ’s Games.

Dear TJ, Allison and Members of the TJ CrossFit Community,

On this Veteran’s Day, the Blue Star Mom’s wrap up our “Fall into the Holidays” Collection Drive for our troops and it was a big success!   As you know, the Blue Star Mom’s send Holiday Care Packages to our Troops serving abroad, many in harms way who will not be home with their families.  We pack each box with the thought of sending a little bit of home to them, hoping to put a smile on the face of every soldier who receives one.  We can not do this alone.  It takes community support that enables us to get the items needed for the boxes and the money to ship them.

On behalf of the Blue Star Mom’s, I can’t thank you enough for the generous monetary and product donations you gave to us, especially at the TJ’s Games held on Oct 28 at the Civic Center.  Due in large part of your overwhelming participation in donating an estimated $1000 in items and $725 in cash, we will be able to pack at least 200 Care Packages!  WOW!!  Each box will include not only your donations but rest assured, we will include your love as well as ours.

TJ and Allison, thank you for welcoming the Blue Star Mom’s so warmly and allowing us to play such a big role in your day.  On a personal note, I was fortunate enough to be a CrossFit spectator for the day at the Games.  It was awesome to watch all the athletes compete – such strength and determination, to say the least but I also witnessed such wonderful support for each other.  What an inspiring community you all share – it made my day to be able to share it with you!

Once again, Thank you so much and to all the Veterans belonging to TJ’s Gym’s, Thank You for your service to our country.

God Bless You and God Bless our Troops…

Susie Morlock – Blue Star Mom
