Marla watched from the sidelines as her husband competed in the finals of the 2011 TJ’s Games.  This year she refuses to be denied.  Does she have 4 kids.  Yup.  Does she work full time for the company (Forged Sponsorship) that she is a partner in.  Yup.  Has she literally changed her physique in the last year eighteen months.  She has found the athlete that she never knew existed.  She’s going to be one of the strongest competitors and biggest cheerleaders at the Games.  I know that because she is the ultimate TJ’s supporter.

JJ Freitag

JJ joined only 2 1/2 months ago.  He has become a staple at the 6am CM class.  With the intimate setting in CM the energy that everyone brings is very important.  Teamwork is vital there and everyone needs to be able to communicate with each other well, whether they are Rx’ing workouts or using a hollow pole.  JJ fit in like a glove.  He is incredibly gracious and courteous and his natural physical abilities have already made him a welcome addition to the tight crew with the view of the mountain.  He’s already on the Dboard with regularity and asking for help after class (kipping pullups after just a few cues).  He will be a fan favorite with his calm and relaxed demeanor.  If your nerves are getting the best of you , saddle up next to JJ.  He’ll be happy to start a conversation and keep your nerves in check.

Alright, People!  We’re well over the 100-athlete mark, but there are still some really important names missing.  We’ve heard rumblings that some of you are concerned that you will have to modify the Scaled movements, and you don’t want to do that.  Rest assured there WILL be an opportunity to declare Scaled 1 or Scaled 2, so there will be two different scaling options for those not going Prescribed.   The Scaled 2 option will be accessible to almost all of our athletes, barring any major injuries.  You don’t need to declare Scaled 1 or 2 until the workouts are announced.

So, the REALLY BIG NEWS is that we are extending registration through midnight on Monday, October 8th.  Get signed up if you’re not already. You won’t regret doing it, but you will regret not doing it.
