TJ’s Gym WOD for Fri. May 25th

What more can be said about this team?  Creating a new world record and matching a second, while earning five top-five finishes in arguably the toughest region in the world.  They gave all they had.  Not everything you want can turn out the way you want it to.  As Steve Jobs once said, “you can see the moments in the past and connect the dots that lead you to where you are today, but you can only do that with the past, not the future.”  Like it or not, CrossFit is a sport, and with sports there are winners and losers, there are judges and umpires.  There is strategy and finally there are results.  What happens next is what defines us.  As always, there is a whole lot of pride in this community–for our team, our relationships, our program, and all the intangibles that are part of everything we do.    Leaders can look at the past, accept it, reflect on it, and move forward.  There is no room for living in the past with regret.  I feel I do a pretty damn good job learning from the past and moving forward, and our team will surely do the same.

Thanks for the photos, Greg Crane!

New sign-ups for the next 15-minute check-ins in Corte Madera with me  can be done via email at tj@tjsgym.com.  I will be seeing people between 7 and 8:30pm next Wed, 5/30.  Please email your preferred time and I’ll get as close to that slot as possible based on what’s available.  I will not be holding these meetings on Monday due to the holiday.

Here’s our schedule for Monday, 5/28 (Memorial Day)

San Rafael:  7:15 On Ramp and 7:30, 8:30, 9:30 classes

Mill Valley:  8:15, 9:15, 10:15 On Ramp

Novato:  9am only*
