TJ’s Gym WOD for Fri. Nov. 4th

Andy Boone.  Sponsor Coordinator extraordinaire.  The job that Andy did for the 2011 TJ’s Games was what made this year different from years past.  We have always had loud, intense competition showcasing the best of our community, from athletes to spectators to judges.  This year, Andy added another level, working with dozens of sponsors and coordinating prize packages, financial contribution,s and presence at the event that you just don’t see at your average CrossFit throwdown.   When I commented about what a great job he did, Andy gestured a big circle with his arms and shook his head saying “We…we did it.”  Class act.

Huge thank you to CJ Rendic and Jake Schutt of Parallel Advisors.  They supplied all of the judges and competitors with shirts that we have been wearing so proudly.  The downside was that the apparel company screwed up the sizing and the competitors ended up with shirts for their kids or their friends’ kids.  Here comes Parallel to the rescue.  They have decided to print new shirts for all of the competitors on their dime.  Unbelievable.  A big thanks to Lisa, who will be coordinating the reprint and distribution.  Keep an eye on the discussion board for the update.  Thanks,  guys.  We all appreciate this huge effort!

Mill Valley-Starting this Saturday Nov. 5 we will be expanding Saturdays to 7:30 Onramp, 8:30/9:30 All Levels.  Then next week we are adding 9:15 am’s on Tuesdays (Allison) and Thursdays (Lisa).

Novato-Exciting news–Strength class on Fridays at noon with Gilly starting next Friday, Nov 11th.  This class will do the same workout as the Wed strength classes in San Rafael.

Open Gym Friday night in SR, 4-5:15pm.  Work on what you suck at.  Next week it’s in Novato.

There will be a Nutrition Lecture with Coach Marcus in Mill Valley on Monday night at 7pm.  Bring your questions and concerns.

Monday, Nov 14th TJ’s Ladies Discussion Group in San Rafael with Dr. Allison.  7:30-8:45pm.  All women of TJ’s welcome. No charge.
