TJ’s Gym WOD for Fri. Sept. 9th, 2011

Linda came in with an unsure look on her face.  Now she can’t wait for the next test of her capabilites.  She wanted to make sure that she was going to get that “buzz.”  Linda, have you met Beast, Bear, Helen, Mr Joshua or the monster below yet?  Buzz heavy this week.

Our new and improved Barbell Club programming is in place.  Check out the video above.  We are launching a trial 5-week program in San Rafael from Sunday, September 18th through Sunday October 16th.  The cost for all 5 weeks is $75.

“Shoulder Tester” – Compare to 12/22/2010

8min – As Many Unbroken Sets of 5 OHS (115/75) *must put bar on rack or shoulders between every set of 5 (you get points for every rep you complete but they must be multiples of 5)
rest 2 minutes
5min – AMRAP Double Unders
rest 2 minutes
3min – AMRAP HSPU
rest 2 minutes
1min – AMRAP Box Jumps (24/20)

Out of Town WOD

8min – As Many Unbroken Sets of 5 Burpees.  You can only rest in plank position or in bottom of squat.  No standing or leaning
rest 2 minutes
5min – AMRAP Double Unders
rest 2 minutes
3min – AMRAP HSPU
rest 2 minutes
1min – AMRAP Box Jumps (24/20)
