TJ’s Gym WOD for Thurs. Sept. 1st, 2011

Look at David Gruen with the Pelican Style box jump.  Excellent wingspan makes for a softer landing.  I just made that up.

Summer is out and school is in.  Schedules change, people come back in action, which is great!  We want to assure you that we are monitoring our schedules to be sure class sizes do not get out of control.  We are working on adding more 8:30’s to the SR schedule and will have that ironed out asap, so that should address the crowded 9:30 classes on Mon and Wed.   We are also working on another Saturday class in San Rafael to give a third option. We had mentioned an OUTFit class in San Anselmo, but that idea is on hold for now.  There are more logistics than anticipated, and we want to be sure that our solution to the large indoor classes does not disappear when it rains!

IF YOU ARE A SATURDAY SAN RAFAEL PERSON AND WOULD REGULARLY ATTEND A 7Am SATURDAY CLASS INSTEAD OF THE 8AM or 9AM (both of which would remain on the schedule), PLEASE PLEASE DO US  A FAVOR AND GET ON THE DISCUSSION BOARD AND REPLY TO THE THREAD THERE, or email allison@tjsgym.com.  IF WE GET ENOUGH RESPONSE, WE WILL ADD THAT CLASS. PLEASE ONLY RESPOND IF YOU WILL ACTUALLY COME TO THAT CLASS!

We are also working out the final details of our Skill Development additions to the Novato schedule.  We will announce that shortly, but look for two early morning times each week for those. Final schedule note–there is no longer a 10am Skill Dev class in Corte Madera on TUESDAYS at 10am.  There are still Skill Dev classes on M, W, F in Corte Madera at 10am and in SR at 6am Tu and Th.

PHEW!  Thanks for listening!

This Saturday we will have our regular class schedule for the 31 Heroes workout.  It is a partner workout, so there will be plenty of gear to go around, and it’s a fundraiser, so the more the merrier.  The Heroes wod will be held at all four gyms at regular Sat class times only.  Novato is the place to do it Rx’d. We will be subbing rope climbs out for other exercises in the other gyms. If you want to climb ropes in the workout, you need to get TJ’s ok (yes, this is Allison writing) before the end of the week, so track him down!
